Trying to get some reports about Devils Lake. Planning a trip this week and would love to here some good tips. Not from the area so any info. would be great....I will be fishing from a boat.

How did you do? 4 of us went Fri - Sun caught 1- 7lb eye in the trees at Creel Bay. I think we were too early. Everyone we talked to said it was very slow. There was no shortage of wind however. I had 2 inches of water over the floor in my 1900 pro v.

It got kind of scary for a while. Managed to get out of the trees without breaking anything.... Still kind of surprises me.
