F-18 Moment

So here we were flying a loaded patrol searching for wild land fires last summer. We had seen what we believed to be a fighter jet on the horizon as we were near a Canadian Air Force Base. Moments later we had a, "Holy.....moment" when one of passengers shouted, "He's right here!" over the radio. I had just enough time to press the on button of my digital camera and with virtually no time to find him in the view finder, I clicked this photo. Buddy had the flaps, landing gear and power down to slow him down to helicopter speed. Big thrills all around and then he powered up!
