Buying used two stroke motor in Ontario

I bought a used boat in Ontario on hsolist. Package included an older two stroke outboard. I have heard that U.S. Customs will not allow me to import the motor unless it meets curret EPA emissions standards. Has anyone else heard of this prohibition?

You need to call the US customs, not the border patrol. The customs will have the answers you need.
