4/20 report

we left our house at about 5:30 and went to laneboro.We started off at the trout ponds but the fish we very finicky.We got about 12 or 13 trout from there.Go go bait in the ponds was a ratso with a very light jigging motion.Then we hit the creeks,we didnt catch anything on the root but hit another small creek and i caught 12 nice rainbows.Go to bait in the creeks was a ratso under a bobber letting it drift in the currents as close to the banks as you could get.Color really didnt matter as long as it was bright,water was pretty murky.The biggest rainbow was a very fat 18" that hit a pink/white ratso.It was a very fun day and hopefully will be getting down there soon.

i also had success today. here's a nice brookie i caught down in goodhue county. porbably caught about 20 more this was the nicest one

Sounds like good fishing! Going down there for some turkeys and trout this weekend! Can't wait!
