0 SWMuskeye
anyone know how to adjust an access cover so it doesn't flap much and keeps water out? The dealer must've put it on wrong when I bought my 08 silverado crew. When I have water on the tonneau after a rainstorm and back up it drops into the bed. Also, the canvas seems to flap a little when I drive. Any thoughts?
0 Hafnutz
If you don't have it, put a piece of thick foam weatherstrip across the front of the bed before you attach the framework. That will seal the front. There should be adjustment thumbscrews way up on the front. One on each side of the frame. Adjust these to pull the cover tight. When you set the cover in place, pull on it sideways to stretch it tight as you work it onto the velcro. Mine flaps a slight amount when driving, but very little. 99% watertight, I really like it.
