Johnson Lake Crappies

Does anyone get the crappies out of Johnson Lake near Danbury?

I heard there are some big ones in there, but I haven't seen any.

Just a guess here but I bet the rumor is true. There really isnt a bad panfish lake up there unless it becomes overfished and most lakes up there have little to no pressure so the fish are BIG!

Try it out sometime in late may on a shallow mud flat with some spotty structure and im sure you could find a few. looks like the bay on the north end would be your best bet since it will warm up the quickest.
