Has any one used Gander Mountain for boat service?? Any suggestions, just for a impellor and engine check

Personally for something that simple, find a good independant place to fix it and save a ton of money, repairs like that can be double at a dealer or commercial place like a sporting goods store...and on that note, they are a sporting goods store. Would you take your car engine to get checked to Gander if they sold used cars as well? Just a thought.

gander has been hiring some pretty good mechanics from several dealerships

seems you see some change in places of employment there as any boat sales store

Not sure where you're from, but if you're near the Brainerd area, I'd go to Nisswa Marine for sure. I'm always surprised that the bill is less than I would have feared or expected. You can't say that very much anymore. They are good, and very fair.
