Does anybody know if the Garmin eTrex Vista HCx is compatible with the Lakemaster Digital GPS maps? I believe I would be getting the chip.

The Lakemaster site lists the software as compatitble with the Garmin eTrex Vista Cx, which is now discontinuted and replaced with the HCx.

I want both of these items but if they do not work together I need to find a different GPS unit to purchase.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You might want to take a look at the 2008 Navionics Lake Map Chip.
