Free Photo Shop?

If anybody is looking for a free photo editing software, getpaint offers a free clone fo the program. I haven't read any of the disclaimers, but it is an actual program that you can install on your computer that will allow you to edit your photos in a similar manner as Photoshop.

kwiggy, everything I've seen on getpaint shows it only works on Windows machines. Do you know if there's a Mac version?

For the mac you might try gimp. I haven't used gimp, but I have heard that it is very good. The only complaint is that it doesn't have a photoshop like interface, but I believe it can do most of the basic photoshop tasks. Seashore is another choice, but it is just a simpler version of gimp.

Thanks, kwiggy. I'm not in the market, using Photoshop CS2 like I do, but was wondering out loud about it as a way to get more info out there for others.

I looked at gimp, and it's very complicated.
