pickinupafew
Very nice image.Especially considering the photographic nature of loons. There is white, white and black, black. Tough to get detail in both, but on my monitor... you nailed it!
buzzsaw
Thanks Jonny and pickingupafew! I had the assistance of ACR to help me get back the whites on the chest as they were sorta hot. I always shoot Loons in RAW vs jpeg as I realize that I can use that PP leverage later to dial in the image. I got a new computer system and it flys, so I'm trying to get to alot of images from last year that are sitting in Bridge unprocessed and thats what your seeing. Heres one on a super flat cloudy morning... you lose the green coloring in the neck which is unfortunate, but I liked this one because of the look baby was giving mama.
