oil filled heater problem

I have a delonghi (sp) heater for my daughters room in the winter. it is the kind that looks like a radiator and is oil filled. I moved it today and when I put it back and turned it on it makes a crackling sound. the heater never got tipped or anything. does anyone have any idea what could be wrong and how I can fix it or is it just shot???

We have a heater like that and it has made that kind of noise a couple of times after we moved it. Never made any difference as to how it works.

I had one of those types of heaters before as well. As stated in the previous post, mine would do the same. I never had any problems with it, I think I finally gave it away...

Same here, mine crackles after I move it. Works like a dream.
