2 B&W photos...

Wanted to try out some black and white photos. Didn't do much, except for adding some contrast and that's about it. My biggest question is that what are we looking for in black and white?

Anyhow..here it is..

I really like the first one, very nice contrast which makes for a very bold photo. nice work.

I agree with brassman. The dark trunks really offset the frost on the branches.

Thanks! In poster prints, it looked better! I have first one in poster, and it's sitting in my office!

Both look nice, I like the contast in the first, but also am parcial to old buildings.
