Underwater Cameras

I'm looking at purchasing an underwater camera (end of season specials)... and wanted to know what to look for? Do you really have to spend a lot of money to get a decent one? What about the Fish TV at a price of $100? or how about Cabelas one for $30 more? How about ease of use in summer compared to winter?

Any suggestions or tips appreciated prior to purchase..

I have the Cabela's VS 350 and it is fantastic. I don't have experience with many other cameras but I like the 350 for both open water and ice fishing. The 7" screen is very nice and I can run it for a long time before a charge is needed. I have also heard some decent stuff about the fish TV camera...but also a few negatives.

I bought the Cabelas 9" one this weekend from the Bargain Cave in the Rogers store. They were $99 for the 9" and $79 for the 5". They had about a dozen left. It worked well enough until the sun came up and it became too bright to see the monitor. But that would probaly be true of most systems.

They had two Aqua-Vu's. One was the wind up cord one, yellow, not sure of the model and the other was the MC (multi-color). Both were over $250.
