pike tackle needs

hi its almost spring got some great advice on pike lures a while back. a have a few spinnerbaits buck tails, some rapalas any advice on a few lures to add to the arsanal. most of the pike i get are 6# or less thanks

Don't forget your spoons, which for me are the most reliable of all pike baits. Plastics work well too, just don't expect them to last very long. Some near surface jerkbaits work great over weeds (I think they make 6 or 7 inch suicks, but even the small guys hit my 9 incher).

I agree on the spoons, a Johnson Silver Minnow is a classic. Plus, the one hook makes it a lot easier when handling fish.

For a good time, pick up a topwater bass plug or two. You'll catch both, but watching the pike explode on those is a blast. Looks like they're coming up from a trampoline. There's a bunch out there, Heddon torpedos, even the Tiny Torpedo on a spinning rod, now that's fun!
