duck2
I am going to be making a stop in the greater Herbster / Cornucopia metropolitan area soon and am considering an ice angling attempt on Bark Bay or the Bark Bay Slough. Does anyone have any advice or experience with regard to this fishery in the winter? Is there some easy access for a walk on angler? What species might I target ( Pike? / Salmonids? / Perch? ). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
JAR JAR
I haven't heard of anyone going out yet due to ice conditions. I have only fished lakers out therein about a 150 FOW. I imagine you could get into the southern part of the bay and get northern or maybe perch but I haven't heard anything. To get ouot there take the road all the way out to the end of bark point and there will be a boat landing there.Jar Jar
DeathRoe
You better pull a canoe or boat behind you.
