transducer versatility

Does anybody know if there is a way to make a vexilar transducer function on a zercom clearwater classic flasher? The flasher works great but you have to level the puck every time and it's a pain. I believe that the vexilar and the zercom ducers operate at 200kHz so you should be able to use a vexilar one on a zercom unit. Anyone know how?
