I'm getting to the point where I think I'm going to start buying a few new ice fishing toys. Not too long now.

We've had some snow and freezing temps, even during the day, but we'll be in the upper 60s for most of next week. I'm still designing my new windblocking/hauling sled to be pulled by a snowmobile. I should start buying some of the materials tomorrow from Home Depot even though the boat is calling me for a few more trips to some alpine lakes where the lakers are spawning and feeding aggressively. I can't wait for ice!
