fisherman-andy Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 How rare would it be to catch a Black Nose Crappie up here in MN? Or do they simply don't exist here in the midwest? I've caught Whites, Blacks, and hybrids but would like to an opportunity someday to land a Black Nose to see what they really look like in person. I do know that a Black Nose is simply just a Black Crappie with a different genetic strain which causes the strip that runs from their mouth straight up to the back fins.
