cjac
Hi,If you are looking for action and numbers of fish, there are a bunch. Depends on what side of town you are looking for. West: Minnetonka is a good option, Medicine, and there are many others. East side: White Bear can be fun with a lot of small pike, as can Bald Eagle. Size is a different story, it's pretty tough to find sizeable fish in the metro, or anyone willing to talk about it! I caught a 38 inch pike this summer on a 150 acre metro lake, so it's not all just about the big lakes. For a mix of size and a chance at some bigger pike I'd say 'tonka.
