Fish Toys
According to some customers you can spear any amount and any size pike you want. Heard there was an airplane pilot shuttling people out to lakes to spear. Never got who it was or where he was from. Sounds like the pike are taking over other species of fish and they want the pike gone.
DocEsox
Haven't ever heard of anyone spearing pike up here....although they are becoming pests in places. They are native to the interior of Alaska but misguided souls have transported them to the southern coasatal drainages where they wreak havoc on juvenile salmon and trout. fishinfey8
a little off subject...do you have any walleyes up in alaska???
DocEsox
No walleyes up this far north in Alaska.....at least the state has had the good sense not to stock nonnative fish into Alaskan waters so nearly all the ecosystems are in their native state still. al jr
my brother and his buddies have tried spearing a few times but it seems like the best pike lakes tend to have murkier water
