building a portable fish house

I posted this on the Brainerd area forum, but thought this would be a good place also.

I would like to build my own fish house, but need some resources. I can find whole trailers, but would like to build from the ground up. It would be the best of both worlds if a fella could make something that was collapsible, at least part way, but still sleep in it with the family, or the "fellas". Tips on what has worked for other people that have built their own or what not to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Are you talking about a portable canvas one or a wheel house.

How many $$$ do you want to spend

I have built quite a few of them, each one gets bigger and more $$$.

I am up to 8 x 20 now.

Not sure about the size. The only things that I know for sure is that the house should be big enough for my family of five and be on wheels. I could re-fit a existing trailer. Building materials are wide open. If you have built you own, please let me know what has worked, and what to NOT do.

be sure to build the pivot axel out of the heaviest solid round steel you can get and by able to dound hollow pipe arround it.

use a 3500# wheel hub as the smallest tire hub.
