Boy Lake crappies

Anyone know what the crappie bite's like up in the Longville area? We're heading up this weekend, hoping the ice will stick with us for a few more days, and wondering what the crappies are hiting on and when they're active.

Check with 'Walleye" in the Remer area forum.
I believe he fishes most of the lakes in that area.

I live in the Longville area,and do a fair amount of fishing here,actully my wife says way too much.

Boy lake has been really slow this year,think you would have better luck for perch on Winni.

Trelipe has been putting out lots of eater crappies.

The fishing has been real slow all winter on the small lakes around here,but the perch have been biting really good on Winni,so I have been going up there a lot this winter.

I have heard Wabdeo is giving up some crappies,mule is always good for eaters as well.
