Where to find Carb part for Tecumseh AV520?

I read a couple posts on adjusting the Carb on a Tecumseh AV520 3HP because mine would not run right. Went out to adjust the Low and high speed adjustment screws and noticed that my high-speed adjustment screw is missing. No wonder it doesn't run right! Does anyone know where I could order a new one? Or would most small engine places have one? Not sure if they are fairly universal or not.

That is the model of the engine. There aren't any engine manufactures that make carbs, so when you need a carb part you get the model number and make off the carb.

I think yours would be the Walbro WT-257.

You should be able to get that from a small engine shop or do an on-line search with your carbs make(Walbro) and model(WT-257).

Best bet it to go to Walbro's site and do a look up your carb model. In fact I've done that and your High speed needle is part # 102-3096-1 At that same site you'll find a list of shops to order that part from. Or call a small engine shop and tell them you want part # 102-3096-1 for a Walbro carb.
