Meadow Lake

Anyone have any luck fishin trout on Meadow Lake south of Detroit Lakes? I have a lake place here in the summer, and we will catch a trout every now and then, wondering if it's any better in the winter.

the lake is closed to trout fishing in the winter, as are all other trout lakes in becker county. I haven't had much success there in the summer; there are better places in the area to catch trout.

Didn't know it was closed in the winter. I never fish for them trout, usually in summer if one is caught it's while we're fishing for something else. I think the trout make pretty good meals for the pike in the lake.
