soderblooms aluma fish houses

Found this old post and thought it worthy of an additional note after my first full year with a soderblooms!

I did have an issue with one of the wheels starting to bend in towards the house. The result was that the arm used to release the wheel was actually rubbing on the house. I called Jay and informed him of the issue and he asked when I could bring it up. The house was stored for the summer, but I just got it out last week and took it up to Jay. When I arrived his team stopped what they were doing and the three of them went right to work on my house. Not only did they fix the problem, they added additinal support braces, touched up welds, and went through the whole thing, screw by screw replacing any that they thought looked like were in need of replacement. All this was considered warranty work and Jay would accept nothing.

If ANYONE is looking at getting a house, you owe it to yourself to check out Soderblooms. Great houses, great prices, and phenomenal service. Thanks again Jay

Stymie

PS - my boys and I have spent 3 nights already this year sleeping in the house out in the yard!!

They look great, but they are not building them this year or I would be looking to buy. The bad thing on warranty is if you live 6 hours away, it doesnt mean much. More dollars in travel time then the repairs!

FYI... 3 year update - this house has held up incredibly well, still looks the same as when i took these pictures. Typically I fish 15 to 20 overnights in a winter traveling in a radius of about 150 miles around Mankato. Cant say enough about the aluminum frame, spray foam insulation, and Jay Sodderbloom!

Not everyone is 6 hours away but I know what ya mean. There are several guys around my parts that have Soderbloom houses and all I talk to over the years seem very happy with them. Any issues they have had have been taken care of very quickly by Jay/Chris and the crew.
