Heater Cointrol On My Highlander

Any idea why my heater blows cold air when it's set around the ¾ mark? Above and below this setting it's ok. 2003 Toyota Highlander.

thermostat is prob bad, try burbing the system first and if that doesnt work its probably the stat

What do you mean burbing? And where is the stat on this thing? Thanks

It is not the thermostat! If the t-stat was bad there would be limited heat at any setting (if the stat was stuck open) which is not the case. Likely there is either a problem with the temp control switch or the hot and cold blend door actuator. I woulod suggest a call or trip to the dealer to see if it 1. a known issue and 2. if they are aware of a fix. Likely you will fall into the "need diagnostic time" catagory.
