I'm looking for a used boat for multiple purpose: fish and cruising around. We are an older couple and need a boat that is easier to get into and out of by bad-backed, arthritic persons. Pontoon boats are out. Don't have a lake place and not enough space in Crystal location to park one. Besides they are harder to tow. Currently have an older 1988 Crestliner Ensign SC with a deep front that is getting to be problematic for entrance and egress. Currently researching fish & ski genre because of the front deck and windshield. Older 1968 Starcraft 16' is available. Should be one made in Goshen, IN before the original company sold out. I know nothing about the quality. Anybody have an idea? Also trhere is a 1996 Lowe 17 SC out there. Is Lowe about the same quality as the G3 boats? Thanks for any assistance. Murph.
