aqua view problem

used my aqua-vu scout 2 for 1st time this week. worked great for 1 hour. then the screen had horizontal lines on it. after another hour the screen went blank. put the camera away and it started to stink. had like a chemical smell to it. any ideas???? how is aqua-vu customer service????

I have had some problems like that and everytime it's the battery. I went to use mine last weekend and it would not work. I charged the battery and it still would not work, so I tryed a different battery and every thing work fine.

Did you charge the battery before you used it.. often times new out of the box, those batteries are only about 60% charge on them.

I'm going with battery dead.

However, if needed, AV cust service is awesome!
