Mid winter Walleye

Where does one find mid winter walleye? I am going to fish a lake that is basically a dammed up river. The lake is 70 km long and vary narrow. The maximum depth is around 50 ft in the middle. Where is a good depth and area to fish for walleye as a general rule for this time.
