spool problems

Is there some way to keep my line from wrapping around the drag. I've had a tica that did this and now my penn prion does this ocasionally. I've had quantums, shimanos, and pinnecles that never had this problem. Is there something I can do about this?

Spinning reels will tend to "wrap" the line when you keep reeling when a fish is taking line out. Also there is a "right" side to a spool when putting new line on. If you have the wrong side up, the line will twist on the reel spool. I also get a lot of line twist when float fishing a leech if I don't put a swivil on. Hope this helps,
