Can someone help me out?

I recently bought a cross country ski trail business, it is a donations only which is fine I don't want to change it, so I need to watch how much I put into it. So I am trying to make my own brochures and I am having a heck of time getting the logo to look right. My brochures are going to just be a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper folded in half with the trail map on the inside. When I insert this image into publisher it looks like dump when I print it out, I realize the photo is small but how can you make it bigger and still have some sharpness.
