We've got a 2004 T&C with a 3.3L V6 engine. It has roughly 147000 miles on it. For the past year there has been a noise that usually gets worse as it gets colder. This summer, it was there as well. I am convinced that it is not the power steering, since it makes no difference if the steering wheel is being touched or not. It is a hum that changes in tone with the shifting of the transmission.
I have had hubby bring it in to the dealer a couple of times, but they always tell me there is nothing wrong. Is this just a normal quirk with this engine? Is it ok to ask a mechanic to come along for a ride to tell them what I am hearing? And why is it that husbands never think anything is wrong with their wife's vehicle? I've been told to just turn up the radio, then the noise won't bother me.
Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe. I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho. Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there. About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.
It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway. Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work. You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water. When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
