Question
clam up
I have an in-floor radiant heating system as a secondary heating system with 2 different zones (basement & garage) with 6 motorized valve actuators. Four of them have failed to date. These original MVA's were Wirsbo model A3020522 and the plastic bases broke apart. I see that Wirsbo (now Uponor) has an upgraded MVA (A3010522) that apparently has a much lower failure rate. Does anyone have any experience with these MVA's or possibly know of any other better options? It is a 24V - 4 wire valve that works in conjunction with thermostats for the different zones.
