The lake is totally covered with ice and the new season is officially underway. Yesterday the main lake finally froze but the smaller bays have ice for close to a week now. I just talked to a few fishermen that were heading out to the north end of six mile bay and they said there was already 5 inches of ice. By next weekend we should be able to travel by ATV almost anywhere. I shouold know how the guys did tonight and I will let everyone know.
