bleeding and glow hooks

They all appear to have some sort of "turned" eye. Up/down what the heck! Do these hooks require some sort of snell knot. Are there any garden variety straight shank aberdeen style bleeding/glow hooks out there?

Probably, but not at any stores around here in the cities. Try the hooks you mentioned, you may like them. The angle in the won't affect a regular knot.

or, learn to tie a snell knot on them.. its really not that hard, snell knot is the strongest knot that I know of!
