jonny_redhorse Posted November 24, 2007 Share Posted November 24, 2007 took a walk earlier this grey, overcast windy november day.....and came across the handiwork of a few beaver....I'm just amazed at how these things can chomp a tree down so "cleanly"....those teeth are like chisels! ...nice clean cuts ....and the size of the trees amazes me!...some of these popples are 12" and more...then I noticed they cut em in 8' long sections!...AND!...they even know how to drop em facing the lake!...just amazing! ....if only us humans have as much incentive as these little guys ....nature at it's finest!
