Wables Posted January 21, 2003 Share Posted January 21, 2003 The reason that I flip the treble hook and use the rear tine for bait is simple. It allows the minnow head to become more "streamlined" with the bait. If the hook is pointed forward, the minnow head will hang straight down when the JR is moving. With it on the rear tine, the minnow head tucks up to the body allowing it to glide better.
