I am Trying to Sort through the question about which ice suits to buy...

Hey guys...

I really am looking at buying an ice suit this year. I figure that it is time I invest in a good quality suit that will last me a while. I have read all the good posts but am hoping to get a little more feedback/info to help me as this is not a small purchase on my budget.

I have to admit...I am confused by all the options. This is hopefully where you can shed some light and help me make a decision.

I am looking for a thinner suit that can dub as a spring/fall rain suit, but most importantly will still keep me really warm during hardwater season. I am more concerned with winter, but was hoping to kill two birds with one expensive stone.

I don't like a lot of bulk, but would like good padding on the knees and want to make sure i dont go through it in two-three years.

Which of the suits do you guys think may serve me best? or...Where can I try a bunch of the suits on?

IMO the arctic armor camo will be your biggest bang for the buck as far as ice fishing suits go. You can use it all ice season, early and late open water and duck hunting. Too be honest, it is so soft it can double as a pillow on a long road trip. LB
