"Best" ~ $20,000 walleye boat?

John K I use a different boat or two per season and can let you know that the lund Alaskin is a fine boat for fishing 0 to 3 foot waves but you would simply become exhausted trying to even get back to shore in 4 to 7 footers.

The good part is that with its somewhat low horsepower rating of 125 poniesyou could get one with trialer with say a 115 Yamaha for $20.000.

Trying to compare a boat like you mention to our regional boats is hard.

You might want to talk to a guy in Rogers that builds boats.he uses a engineer from I think Washington state to design boats[cant think of boat name right off.I had a lund Alskin last year and loved it but its not a big wave boat

A good boat might be a used warrior [Pete harsh that used to be a regional salesmen for them always showed me a tape of passing other brands of boats on Lake Erie in a tournament with ease as they were in 7 foot waves.

The other guts were barely able to hold steering wheel and he was in a 200 horse tiller model

Yes it is Lake Assault, couldnt think of name but remembered builders name Jerry .

Last June I picked up a new Lund Alaskin 20 footand Sparton trailer and a new Yamaha 115 4 stroke and had well under $20,000.in it without electronics.Bought the motor from sperate dealer than boat.It was a last year of production boat from Steinbach Manitoba. My brother said that now in Canada that resorts are getting dual console and 115 for right around the 20 mark and are getting American New York Mills Mn boats but you will have to buy with a Mercury motor.
