Hanson I think it might be getting too cold for flathead fishermen

I fished alone last night cause I couldn't find anyone crazy enough to be out in that cold weather.

While catching bluegills for bait (tough when wet hands get cold), I caught a large golden shiner. I put it in its own little bucket cause it looked like a beautiful bait.

You can imagine my glee when after setting the bait it only lasted 20 minutes and got grabbed. I landed this flathead before dark. Pardon the pix but I was using the timer on the camera to get a shot.

During the night I had another flathead run but swung and missed. I caught 2 channel cats.

At daylight I started packing up cause I was cold. As I started to reel in my rods I heard a clicker move. I set into another flathead and landed it.

It might not be too cold for flathead but it is too

cold for me!
