swedishpimple
Seems to be a real lack of birds in the Bemidji area. I will try, but I think I am better off siting in old trusty.
RBuker
Not much here either (20 miles north of Alex). But, there seems to be a few mallards moving in and the geese are slowly building up. Hopefully this wind we had last night will push in a few divers!
thaJman
There were far fewer birds 75 miles SW of the cities yesterday than in weeks past. The majority of the teal, woodies, pintails etc that had been around since opener seemed to be gone. Most of the ducks we saw were mallards, and educated ones at that. They were a little decoy and spinner shy. Most landed way short. We did however manage to find 5 uneducated ones. Actually we found 7 uneducated ones..5 paid the price and two got an education.
