Just got back from Rainy. Fished with John Janousek from Crestliner Boats and we pounded the giant crappies. The largest went 2.4 and we had six at two or more with most of the rest over a pound. A #2 blue chrome Jigging Rap was the hot bait for the big ones. We also caught a few walleyes in the three to four pound range.

Thanks for the report on Rainy. Were you fishing the Canadian side or US. I have a cabin on Hopkins bay on the Can side but have never ice fished. Any info would help.
