Lowrance X102 Problem

I came home last night and my Lowrance X102 was ringing & flashing like a smoke alarm. I shut it off and checked the cranking batter and it was showing a full charge so I figured it was a fluke.

Leaving the house this morning, it was doing the same thing. This time I just unplugged the power connection to prevent from happening again.

Has anyone had this happen before? If so, what causes this?

I had problems w/ the same unit. In my case, it just plain would not turn on after a yr and a half of pretty good service. I sent it in after a quote over the phone from Lowrance. It cost me $215 to get it fixed and returned. The price tag for the repair was too high in my opinion, but they did it under 2wks. Hope you have better luck. I know Lowrance is pretty popular in this area, but I am not always that impressed.
