FREE walleye seminars for women and beginners at Rogers Cabela's this weekend

This weekend, I'm trying something new for Cabela's at the Rogers store...

I'll be presenting seminars on Sat and Sun geared toward women and beginner walleye anglers. This is something they haven't tried before, either, so I wanted to post it here and encourage you to let someone who might be interested know about the dates/times! I've been suggesting it for years, so it would be great if I had a nice-sized audience. It's a great opportunity for you to do some shopping while your wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend is preoccupied

It's also a chance to hear about some upcoming outdoor sports-related issues in time for fall elections. (the Minnesota Sportsman For Outdoors Amendment group will be there to explain what will be up for grabs on this fall's ballot).

I'll be at the Rogers store all day Sat and Sun (Kevin is prefishing for FLW Championship)with our booth and new flyers, so stop by! And if you have some tips for early Oct in Dundee, bring details

Cabela's Conservation Weekend

Join Cabela's and some of the Minnesota's most renowned outdoor groups to better understand the need for conservation and outdoor education in today's world. Some of your favorite organizations will at the Rogers location of Cabela's; The Minnesota Waterfowl Assoc, The Minnesota Deer Hunters Assoc, The West Metro Whitetails, Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, and MinnAqua will be here with some great educational material and ways that you can become involved. We will also be joined by the Minnesota Sportsman For Outdoors Amendment group to explain what will be up for grabs on this fall's ballot. Stop out and show your support for the "Minnesota Great Outdoors".

Once you know the basics of walleye fishing, the how's & why's come easy. Join Karen McQuoid as she explains how Walleye fishing can be made easy and fun, not difficult and mysterious. Karen will also show how easy it is for women to get started in this great sport.
