Ebbtide Boats

I thought I'd change the subject line to Ebbtide Boats to see if I could catch anyones attention instead?

I realize this is not really fishing related but thought I'd ask anyway? Looking to buy a Ebbtide bow rider and had never really heard of Ebbtide? How would you rate these boats on quality? Compared to Bayliner, Larson, Glastron, Sea Ray, Four Winn, Malibu etc.

I have never heard anything bad about them and I am pretty into boats for an average guy. I have heard that when bayliner bought searay that Bayliners quality went way up and searay went the other way. We had an oppertunity to use a 2007 Glasstron all summer. I was really impressed with the boat. Smooth, quiet, very quick to plane, stayed on plane to a ridiculasly slow speed of like 13 mph with 4 people in it. Great all around boat! it was a 205 ski and fish. Thanks Jim!

In the '90s Ebbtide had an extensive line of OB fiberglass fishing boats. But had dropped them by Y2K. Ebbtide is a small builder, thus not a lot of dealers. Very nice finish on their bowriders. I would say they are built roughly on a par with Four Winns, but FW may have the edge in stable dealers and support. Check out your local dealers.
