Too late for Weed N Feed

Was wondering if it is too late to put down some Weed N Feed to help take care of the weeds for next year? When can I put down the Winterizer stuff?

Put down the weed-n-feed as soon as possible, then put down the winterizer around the 15th-20th of October.

If you don't get the weed-n-feed down before the end of this weekend, (preferably sooner) then skip it for now.

The weeding part will still work, it's just that you're going to have too much fertilizer down if you do both within 2-3 weeks time.
