got out this frosty morning to see what I could see ....little "nip" to the air for sure at 24 degrees ...nice none the less, sun was shining ...I noticed a few hunters on the side roads as bird season started (and deer with bow)....here's a few pics from this mornings travels...

Nice stuff, Jonny, as always.

I was on a couple trails in the national forest near Isabella today and found lots and lots of 'shrooms all over the place. I think there were more grouse hunters than 'shrooms, though.

Nice shots. Being new to photography I would have never thought to take shots of mushrooms but these that you and Steve have been posting have been really great.

Thanks Steve,MM!...can always count on "something" when one has the camera ....even a lonely mushroom is good subject matter when all else fails ....actually,I've found out that some are quite colorfull,grow in many shapes and sizes...all part of nature as I see it...all part of "the big scheme of things"....here's a few more pics from this Sunday morning and a perfect morning it was....just great to be out...saw deer...flushed 3 grouse(no pics )...geese...great scenery...a good weekend!

this has got to be one of the biggest Amanitas I've ever come across...has to be 7"-8" across!
