Riggin minnows for crappies and sunnies

What's the best way to rig a minnow for crappies and sunnies? Under a bobber, on a jig, what?

There is no best way. It's just all about presentation & location. And how active the fish are. When they are really active almost anything will work.

My favorite way is on a VERY small red hook. Under a bobber,no swivels,a small split shot weight about 12 inches above the hook...Its all about simplicity

OK, I guess I forgot a few things. What seems to work better? A minnow rigged, or plastics, or how about small spinners?

minnows? open water? Crappies? Meh, let the minnows live until winter comes around. There is no need to use live minnows when artificials work just as well, if not better.
