Pretty crazy. Have you seen the youtube video of these guys bowhunting for the same species? They cruise around, wait for 'em to jump and shoot at 'em when air born.

I heard years ago that they found a few grass carp (not the ones we saw on the video) as far north on the Mississippi as Hastings. There were not many and the ones they found were removed.

Has any one seen or heard of the Amur/grass carp in MN in the recent past? I have heard of folks fly fishing for these, and it's quite a game. They are a bit different than the common carp and fly selection and presentation take some tweaking. However, I have read the reports of folks down south finding them surface feeding on mullberries near the shore, just like a common would. I understand they get big fast and fight like h*ll. Eric
