Walleye places near Whitefish Bay

Anyone who is willing...My Brother-in-laws are coming up from Florida the Sept 19th-23rd and we are fishing for 4 days out of my Father-in-laws cabin in Snake bay, which is off of Whitefish Bay. I have read enough to know that Snake bay and Whitefish are not very good for walleyes, but i am wondering what are some of the closer spots that we could fish for walleyes. I am willing to go 30-45 minutes to get some place. Also, what depths do they typically hang this time of year. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Barney Narrows, Whitefish Narrows and Yellowgirl Bay are all good places for eyes.

Thanks Paul! We went out to Yelloow Girl and did well with Walleye. They were deep and lite biters. We trolled Snake bay a lot for Northerns and I caught a 42 incher!! Got a little video and let'er go.
